Position: Bi-vocational Pastor

Church: Bowles Baptist in Grand Prairie, TX

We are seeking a Pastor who is knowledgeable about church revitalization and is able to lead the current traditional service at Bowles while simultaneously building a new ministry in the community as part of the Texas Baptist Legacy Replant program.  He should be comfortable in the Hispanic culture.  Services will be in English but it is desirable for the Pastor to also speak Spanish.  He should be self-motivated, community minded, and energetic. He should be a visionary with solid strategic planning skills. He should have strong leadership qualities and be skilled in training others within the church to be leaders. Our pastor should be someone dedicated to evangelism, rooted in prayer, and skilled in communicating God’s Word in a practical manner (preaching/teaching) that is applicable to everyday living.
